As a Universal Design for Learning (UDL) fan, I love that the School Plan allows you to insert audio of yourself reading questions aloud. This feature is particularly helpful for younger students or those who are still mastering the English language. By hearing prompts read aloud, students can better understand what is being asked of them and can focus on demonstrating their knowledge rather than struggling to understand the question.
Extended and No Deadlines
The School Plan also offers Extended/No Deadlines, which means that quizzes and lessons can be available to students at any time. This is particularly helpful for review and practice, as students can access the quizzes whenever they need to. This feature is also great for students who need more time to complete assignments, as it takes away the pressure of a strict deadline.
Adaptive Question Bank
One of my favorite features of the School Plan is the Adaptive Question Bank. This feature gives students different questions depending on their needs, so that each student can focus on previously incorrect and unseen questions for more meaningful learning with every attempt. By tailoring the questions to each student, you can promote mastery and help students feel more confident in their abilities.
Standards-Aligned Reports and Analytics
The School Plan also includes detailed reports and analytics that give you a better understanding of your students' knowledge and abilities. You can see how students performed on each question, which questions were the most challenging, and which standards they struggled with. By using this information to guide your instruction, you can help your students improve and achieve mastery.
Time-Saving LMS Integration to Sync Grades
Finally, the School Plan saves teachers time by integrating with all the main Learning Management Systems (LMS), including Google Classroom, Schoology, and Canvas. This means that grades are synced directly into your grade book, eliminating the need for manual data entry. This integration saves teachers hours of work each week copying/pasting grades into your gradebook so you can spend more time doing what you do best: teaching.
