“I LOVE the Lessons feature for homework and sub plans. Quizizz makes it so much easier for students to be independent learners, and [.yellow-bold]makes me feel less guilty for stepping away from my classroom for a day[.yellow-bold].”

Ashley Thornton

Middle School Science Teacher (Virginia)

“I have had Covid twice and Quizizz was a [.blue-bold]great tool when I could not be at school[.blue-bold]. The students stayed busy for the sub and were [.blue-bold]still learning the standards[.blue-bold] I was supposed to be teaching.”

Jennifer Cain

5th/6th grade teacher (Ohio)

“Quizizz provides great options for my students. I often use the homework feature when I have a substitute teacher. This is [.green-bold]especially helpful as my subs rarely know Spanish[.green-bold].”

Lexsea Stickrod

K-12 Spanish Teacher (Iowa)

“I was going to be absent the day before a test. I had planned to do structured review games with the class, so [.yellow-bold]I needed a test review activity that would fit as sub work instead. Quizizz was perfect![.yellow-bold] Not only is it a good way to review, but the pictures make it feel like a game. And since students can see the answers and try again to raise their score, they can truly practice and improve their understanding. Also, [.yellow-bold]since Quizizz connects to Google Classroom, I was able to give students a grade and easily check their performance, even though I wasn't in class with them that day[.yellow-bold].”

Erin Vera

Health Science / Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher (Wisconsin)

“I often leave a Quizizz when I have a sub in my class, so [.green-bold]I can still collect and assess my student's knowledge, even when I'm out of the classroom[.green-bold].”

Ruth Burkhalter

7th grade ELAR teacher (Texas)

“I like to use Quizizz as a Lesson when I have to have a sub in the classroom. This way the students have a format they are used to, but they are [.red-bold]not losing instructional time due to my absence[.red-bold].”

Hillery West

4th Grade Math Teacher (Texas)

“Quizizz was very helpful when I was quarantined with Covid. It was [.purple-bold]very easy for students and the substitute teacher to gain access to Quizizz[.purple-bold]. From home, I could review students' answers and see their progress.”

Natalie Clouse

High School English Teacher (Kansas)

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
