“I have used [.yellow-bold]EduProtocols ‘the Fast and the Curious’ with Quizizz[.yellow-bold] to teach vocabulary, affixes, root words, and other content. For many students, the idea of beating their classmates or their own time from previous tests is a big deal, so Quizizz is highly motivating. It did help students retain the meanings, as well as encourage them to go back every couple of weeks to review. [.yellow-bold]The classroom percentage still remains high.[.yellow-bold]”

Christine St. John

“I got this idea to use Quizizz with ‘the Fast and the Curious’ EduProtocol from a book by Marlena Hebern and Jon Corippo. [.green-bold]I use Quizizz as a bell ringer every day to and challenge each class to average at least 95% mastery average before their vocabulary test.[.green-bold] If they do, the class gets to skip the vocabulary test and we can use time for enriching content.”

Mariella Carrigan

Middle School Teacher (Florida)

“Quizizz is incorporated into multiple content areas of our classroom. I like to use Quizizz for an EduProtocol called ‘the Fast and the Curious,’ which relies on repetition of learning material to demonstrate mastery. I think that [.yellow-bold]Quizizz is probably the easiest and most wide-ranging online quiz maker because of the library and multiple features embedded.[.yellow-bold]”

Shawn Reed

Elementary Teacher (California)

“I use Quizizz with an EduProtocol called ‘the Fast and the Curious,’ and as an assessment at the end of level 1 of a learning grid. Students can’t move on to level 2 until they earn a 90% on Quizizz after completing the activities on level 1. [.green-bold]They enjoy learning through repetition in a fun way and taking ownership by tracking their progress.[.green-bold]”

Patricia Morgan

Junior High Social Studies Teacher (Ohio)

“Quizizz gives students the opportunity to be actively engaged in practicing or reviewing content and material. The gaming style gets them excited and wanting to participate. [.purple-bold]I like to use Quizizz with ‘the Fast and the Curious’ EduProtocol for math facts and building fluency.[.purple-bold]”

Nicole Garcia

Technology Teacher on Special Assignment (California)

“Quizizz is the basis for my ‘Fast and Curious’ EduProtocol. Following [.blue-bold]the ‘test light, test often’ approach[.blue-bold], I introduce vocabulary- or repetition-based concepts using a Quiz. We immediately review the data focusing on questions that score the lowest and I provide the teaching moment there. Then immediately we Quizizz again. Students have a goal to beat their previous score. No competition between them, just leveling up on a personal goal each time. I repeat this structure every day until our class average is 85%. [.blue-bold]This process is fun, engaging and allows me to give immediate feedback that we can use as a catalyst for learning.[.blue-bold]”

Nicole Nowlin

6th Grade Teacher (Missouri)

“We use Quizizz in the EduProtocol ‘the Fast and the Curious’ to engage students with vocabulary or content prior to the learning. [.blue-bold]Students are motivated to compete against their prior score on Quizizz and request to practice during the week.[.blue-bold] This frees up time for the teacher to personalize instruction and students LOVE it!”

Melissa Shields

EdTech Instructional Coach (California)

“I use Quizizz to provide feedback and help students grow in their learning using [.red-bold]an EduProtocol called ‘the Fast and the Curious.’[.red-bold] Students take the Quiz once without any previous instruction on the subject. Then we see the scores. We discuss the reasons why they scored well on their top two questions. Then, we discuss the reasons why they didn't do well on two of their lowest-scoring questions. I do a mini-lesson on the skill or topic they had trouble with before giving them the Quiz a second time. [.red-bold]The goal is to show growth and to obtain at least an 80%. Students love seeing their score increase on their consecutive tries.[.red-bold]”

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
